Does anyone know where I can download ATR 5.3?

All the copies I've been able to find just flash quickly on the screen and then vanishes.

I just got a T28 and need to unlock it. I found the data cable and am looking for the best software to do it.

From what I've seen, ATR 5.3 seems the easiest to use.

Any helpful opinions?

Thanks.

Well, I just recieved a T28, and I have the OEM data cable. I downloaded the ATR 5.3

I connect the data cable from the laptop that has windows 98SE installed

I open the ATR 5.3 application, select com1 and T28, then click unlock, and turn on the phone.

Then it seems to search and then says time out.

I tried doing different things, but nothing is working. Is there a correct proceedure to do this?

How can I test out the cable to see if it's working?

Here's more info, I don't know if this will help troubleshoot.

I have a sim chip in the phone now, but it says card error.

also when i go into the <**< menu, the network is locked but network subse is unlocked, and SP is unlocked.

I don't know if this adds any useful info.

u don;t have to turn the phone on - when program asks for power on the phone - press no for a short time and that's it

ATR 5.3

And......remove the batt and try again if you have communication problem.

Thanks guys, but both things don't seem to be working.

Maybe my cable is bad. Is there a way to check to see if it's communicating?

Yeah

1. check your serial port (COM1,COM2)
2. What O.S. are you using?
3. Test the cable with another phone.
4. Test the cable with another program.

Best wishes.
