hello all this is my first post. Been reading this forum for a while. A lot of great posts and info on the forum. Hope I can contribute some. Here are my problems:
(upgraded phone to v12.20 from v12.07)
So, I flashed the phone using Rolis by selecting the MCU and then the PPM. I also tryed it by combining the 2 files using knok and then using that combined file in Rolis and flashed the phone again. In both cases the same effects:
1) When trying to select the "Picture Message" menu the phone locks up; only way to fix is pull the battery.
2) Some games graphics are scrambled.
3) The names are incorrect (ie. jibberish) and pictures are scued to the right in the "caller groups" menu.
4) Sub-menus (ie. sub menu to cutomize a profile option such as Ring Level) do not show up unless you press the up/down key.
5) Under "calling cards" the menu options are scrambled and when selecting phone locks and resets.

update: I did a factory restore this morning it corrected the following
- the games are fine now (item 2 above)
- the sub-menus under the "Profile" menu are fine now (item 4 above)
- "calling card" menu fault is fixed (item 5 above)
So, only 2 remain:

and
