8310 probs

i have 2 phones we will say #1 and #2

#1 8310 v04.53 15-12-01 nhm-7
#2 8310 v05.06 07-03-02 nhm-7


#1 showing call service
after trying a heap of software i was getting no dongle on some and on jic could not read imei (the phone would turn off but not back on) then it just did it unlocked the sp locks phone stayed in test mode so i tock out the cable put a sim in and 100% wrking now:p

#2 just will not play ball phone turns off when i click unlock and wont come back on so i get the error cant read imei and with diff software (the 1 with the starwars ) i get bad dongle

any help please i will be greatfull

update

i figured out how i did the #1 phone

put it in test first with dct test mode.exe
then i ran jic unlocker it worked fine
but i tryed same on #2 phone and it couldnt write simlocks

i dont know if the v number of the phone is to new for this software but i had the phone unlocked by a shop a few mounths ago and since it has been blocked iu could take it back but i wana learn how to do them my self any ideas

If it helps the s/v of the #2 is good and can be unlocked with any free program (it's s/v 5.57 which can't), you are going about it the right way, by putting the phone in test mode and then unlocking, what other software have you tried this phone on?

nokia dct4 un locker (starwars )

the best i get is
put the phone in test then run jic goes through everythig but error when writing sp

on "starwars" i get bad dongle error (on both phones)
nokia dct4 tool i get error phone not connected (on both phones)

The star wars one you will get the error as you need the dongle for that one as it seems you have a un-cracked one, (I have the dongle).

Right not sure want else you can do here apart from a software upgrade and try and unlock again, I take it the phone works OK and you can play in the menus and stuff, also I take it the battery is ok and the board has no damage to it.
