c:\system/mail/index.....(xx Kb)?

Hello for everybody............

I'm confused:

I don't have any messages in my 7650, but...........

when i see in the memory it say.... 22 Kb messages, and the file c:\system/mail/index has 22Kb...


How is it possible?

it happens.... I ever got something worst than that too.... something like 36KB in my index file when there isnt any msg in my message.... I have not idea why is it like that too but maybe I suggest its time you format your phone :(

thankx extermination, but I preffer wait for another solution before format the phone...

The memory used you are on about is not just for messages received but for everything under the message folder. E.G. templates, picture messages and drafts etc.....
so unless you delete all of those you will always show memory
being used.
