i like this forum! i could already get very much information here!
it would really interest me, if it's possible to use the cell-location from the miniGPS tool to locate others cell-ID - maybe after calling them first - to locate them ???
..and if so.. is someone able to program such a tool??

I find a notice of this at a mobile forum, but I cant memory the hole text.
Any of the big providers (I thik Vodafone 02) works for this. They called his "alpha" or "beta" software "find a friend" or simmilar. The idea is, to "locate" a friend at the near envirement.
But the major prob is, that the cells are coincide with other or in country regions are only few cells exists.
Sorry, not good informations, search at your country for the theme: "find a friend".
