IMEI changing...
Tried changing (for fun) the imei on my 3210, ive heard in the mobile the imei is stored as plain text and hex or similar. When i change it and run NokTool or similar it says:
Current imei: < the one i changed >
Original imei: 4489................ ( the original )
But if i do the same on a 5146 (similar to the 5110) both are changed:
Current imei: < the one i changed >
Original imei: < the one i changed >
Why is this???
What mobile types can the imei be changed for both original and current values??
Thanks
Mike :-) :-) :-)

Hi, try using the Nokia tool by Rolis 1.7 or higher version, with a Mbus.
Connect and read the phone info then check the box next to the Change IMEI button, input the IMEI that you want and push the Change IMEI button. Both IMEI will be changed. And make a SW reset to get rid of the security code.
works 100%
