Try this Flash for 6150...

Hey Guys!
I just made some cool Mod for 6150.
It contains:
- 60 Ringtones, just the best ones!!!!
- Fading LEDs (200ms in, 450 ms out)
- Animated GFX
- English, German and French T9 (PPM C)
- New Operator Names for german networks
- Flashy text for incoming Sms notification
etc. etc.

The File i have posted here some days ago wasnt the right one, thus not working.
Here the new one:

- 8 Segments for power/network status

"8 Segments for power/network status" did u painted it with ppmedit or real 8 power/network (just like NokDoc's flashes)?

I just painted it with PPMEdit
But you said something with "real" 8 Segments...
where to get those flashes from Nokdoc?
Plz post a link or upload some for 6150, if you have some!
Btw don´t hesitate trying my flash, it isn´t modded that much but i think the ringtones are quite nice though... (60 tones+ 1 variable tone, uploadable)

By the way all my respect to the developers of ProjecT 5110,
they have done great work, I tried it on my 5110 and it is really great what the firmware can make out of such an old mobile.

NokDoc made real segmens only for 3310/82XX seriaes. I thought u made it for 6150 too...

First BIG Thanks to NokDoc for his mod...
Do you also have a file for 5110 with 7 segments?
Probably you could integrate that into the next release of ProjecT 5110, as the segments there are only painted!

P.S. I just downloaded the file for 6150´, I have a BMS-2S NiMH standard battery from 5110 on my 6150 (very fat though, but I didnt have time to buy a slim LiIon battery yet).

Hey NokDoc!
I tested the mod!
I think you worked out the feature with the 7 power bars quite fine.
There is just one problem, that there are still just 4 bars for network coverage (just before the mod)...
See the attached pic!
I know that there is full coverage, so i am quite sure that must be an error with your coding...
please work it over if you have sum time, and post it again...
As i am not skilled enough for such coding:(
Consider, probably publishing a tool for patching the .fls files
to have more bars for netstrength/power!

It was the same with the 3310 one in my room, but when i went out it has 5-6... So i think u should check it somewhere else...


(I will test the 6150 flash too...)

Hi there :)
I am using an already modded flash (Indicdican's) in my 5130. I have it patched further (inverted LCD). If i were to post the file here, could you make it "true 7 battery bars" also? I would need only the battery bars, as i am very happy with the G3nolite network bar that Indicdican put in there. I myself have no clue of modding flashes....... and there is yet no "patcher" for universal use :)
Please let me know if there is a possibility... Thanks a hell of a lot in advance!

Mr Sm0g was right about bars accuracy.

I changed the net strength scale from -3dB to -6dB steps.

Therefore the signal bars range is bigger but looks more dynamical.

The bad news, no other versions planned.

These buggy experiences learn me not to post things I not test myself first.

Unless I have a certain expectation of the reliability.
