Nokia 5100 Contact Service Caused By Incorrect Security Code?

Hi

Fistly, my nokia 5100 refers to "Restriction Code". Is this the same as "Security Code" on older Nokias or is this the SimLock?

Secondly, does anyone know if entering the security code incorrectly more than a certain number of times on a Nokia 5100 would cause a "Contact Service" error?

Also, how would it be possible to spot a phone that was blacklisted? (e.g. how would it behave)
