How to flash 7210 & 6100 ?

Hi :

My brother have a nokia 6100 and a friend of mine has a nokia 7210.

Both phones are blocked (I can't use sims from another operator AND I can only use the IR port to read the agenda)

I don't care about using other sims but I would really like to send java games or dump my brother's fotos from the 6100.

I have the DCT4 calculator but I don't know if those codes will just allow me to use other sims or they will unblock the phones completely.

Will it be necessary to buy a cable to flash the phones?
In that case, could anyone tell me where can I find a tutorial to flash those phones ?
