Another Infrared Question

What exactly all can i do with my infrared?

i can upload games
i can upload ringones
i can upload appz
i can upload pics

can i flash etc?

what else can i do?

Noww, here is what you can do with that IR, using phone only:

-send business card (phonebook entry) to other phone
-receive such business card from other phone
-send calendar entry to compatible (!) phone
-receive such calendar entry from compatible phone

With additional software and a IR-equipped computer, you can as well:

-load operator logo to phone (requires MobiMB, Oxygen or Logomanager)
-load games to phone (requires PC Suite, MobiMB, or Oxygen)
-load images to phone (requires PC Suite, MobiMB or Oxygen)
-load ringtones to phone (requires PC Suite, MobiMB or Oxygen)

-download any of the above FROM the phone (same software required)

-synchronize phonebook and calendar with PC (requires PC Suite, Outlook)
-Make complete backup of phone (requires Oxygen)
-use phone as modem, GPRS or dial-up (requires driver)

You can NOT do the following with IR:

-Play two-player games (does not exist!)
-send ringtone or image to ANY other phone
-unlock phone
-flash phone

Its the connectivity of the 7250i that I like - although I figure that progress ain't all that ....

My old Nk702 (ie. a 6110/6130) had two player infrared gaming (snake - tried it a few times). I seem to remember that it'd print SMSs to a suitably equipped (HP) IRDa compliant printer.

Similarly my ol' 3330 had voicedialling, not very accurate, but it had it.

And my irritating Moto T720 has a really decent and easy to use voice notes feature (the voicedialling works perfect on it).
