C330 help

Hi All,

I have a C330 from Rogers AT&T (Canada). I tried to unlock it and got asked for the subsidy password. After a few times trying different combination I got the message "contact service provider".

Following suggestion found on this forum I left it on for about 45 mins and got the subsidy password message again. This time I ran Passo and found a number. Still wrong : contact service provider stuff again. Another 45 min, delete the motorola.log and retried once more. This time it seems to work since I don't get any message.

As happy as I am, I poped in a Fido sim to test the phone. The phone still boots on a AT&T wireless welcome but found the fido sim and trying to registering to the network. It doesn't seem to work since it says no service available and after that I got the message : emergency only.

I wonder if what i did is right and anyone has seen this b4 ?

is my phone GSM unlocked ? or I just unlocked the subsidy password ?

I am new in this, please help

yes... it is unlocked
you may just be in a black fido area

I wish it's just a Fido black area. But it's not. I put the Fido sim back to his original phone and make call w/o any problem.
