Hi guys
I have a scientific atlanta cable box and the remote does not work, it was then its gone all of a sudden, the batteries are new and I have tried other ones but it does not work !!
Which version of IR remote will work for my cable box, any ideas ??
I have nokia 6600 and also a nokia 3650 ?!?!

Total IR Remote may solve your problems. That version allows you to import the codes and attach the behaviours to keys. The fun bit is finding the Remote Codes for your appliance, converting them to Philips Pronto format or Lirc ( a Linux something ) then using BT ir IRDa send to your handy. The software will automatically ID the file type and import it.
Some clues on how to acheive this :
go to psiloc.com and read the dialogue on the Total IR Remote product.
Remote Central has a library of Appliance codes in Pronto Format
The Philips Pronto site is where the editing software for the codes comes from.
You need lots of time - it took me 2 weeks from go to wo with my jvc vcr.
