Java problem

Hey Guys!

I bought Nokia 6600 a week ago, i put some java games and they worked properly, one day i put another java app. on the phoenand when it was installing error occured it said: ChildInstaller error

Any ideas what was that and how to fix it???

wats the name of the app u install?

maybe its coz it wun work on 6600?

before i used to have rayman 3 on my 6600 i deleted it after a period of time and now if i try to install it, it wun't work and it gives same error as all other java apps and games cause :sad:

whoa, sounds like u installed sth else u shld not install?

rayman3, the jar game? does it work the 1st time?

yeap it worked, however couple of times the game would not load and i had to sart it again and then it would be fine, but now no jar files can be installed :sad:

Unfortunately you have to format your phone :sad:

could b sth else u installed. a mate of mine installed frodo, and it cocked up his fone, ngage games cant b played, and sounds from many games are gone. hes using a 6600 btw, i formatted his fone and reinstalled them, and they are fine.

he swore nv to use frodo again lol.

I had that same problem two times, and the only solution I've found is to format the phone.

yup, so i figured its sth u installed, nxt time b careful wat u install, if u not sure, back up ur fone on mmc, den install the app or game on c: 1st, if it works and nth is wrong wif other stuff, den reinstall into mmc.

i just got the phoen and i already have to format the poor thing... :sad:

i'm glad that all my apps, progs, images and vids are stored on the MMC :)
