Query
Hi all
Please can anyone answer this question.
I have a 3650, (and I know this is naughty, so its just for educational purposes) is there any way that if I distroy the uem (imei number) chip and return it to my provider they will be able to indentify the phone any other way (apart from serial codes)?
:-?

i think that in dct4s the imei is stored on the flash chip, as well as on the uem chip.
technically if you remove the sticker from the back, and destroy the uem chip, don't think they will be able to identify it... maybe if they have your details they may know that it was your phone and so they will know what was the imei, but they will not be able to check it for sure.
but i can't understand why would anyone want to do this thing..
