SounderCover on N6600

Just downloaded and installed soundercover from Aiavanet but it doesnt work, everything looks okay but there is no background sounds for contacts that I have added.

On Simedas webpage it says
MPORTANT NOTE: Nokia 6600 users, please use "Line monitor: Mode 2" from the Setup menu. "Mode 1" is only compatible with older models (Nokia 3650/3660/7650/N-Gage). Only "Mode 2" works on the Nokia 6600. "Mode 2" is also recommended for Siemens SX-1 users.

But there is no such settings in the version that i have (1.2) Anyone else experiencing problems with this program on a 6600_

I need to test this program, but no one's calling me yet. And yea, I'm puzzled about that "Mode 2" thing ...

Hope someone calls me on my 6600 soon ...

It doesnt work at all on my 6600.

Try calling yourself from the housephone or something.

the MODE 2 option does not come bcos of the crack if u download the demo u will see the option there ....
i have a way to get around the problem with the guy saying " this a demo version blah blah " 8-)
heres how -
1 >get dictaphone and record 4kb of nothing
2 >rename it to SounderCover.amr
3> put it systems/apps/soundercover
and presto !! the demo voice does not come anymore :)
but there is a 10 sec delay in it starting but something is better than nothing :smile:

When does the advertising voice come up anyway? During a call or when it starts up?

Because if it comes up when it starts up ... mine doesn't advertise ...

I think so, but the SounderCover.amr seems to be the way to fix it best we can. Hope there is a full version out there, as there isnt a place to enter a Registration Code in the Demo version ... which proves the Demo isnt meant to be for full version usage.

So ... let's get crackin' ;) :lol: :-P :D
