I can get to the message files using epocware file manager, but i was wondering if anyone knew a way of stripping the crap out o the file (headers)
Just being lazy but wondering if any of you hade writen an app to do this?

yea, i think i know an app just cant remember its name. it converts the files into .txt try looking at this forum or at any search engine. sorry too sleepy to do it myself
I think you meen pc suite tweaker. Does it work with the 6600 version of pcsuite as it keeps telling me there are no backups in the backup directory!!!
not sure pc suite tweaker works, but u can get a back up file, by going to memory, then back up fone mem on mmc.
Sadly doesnt help me convert the sms messages to text files :(
just install message saver 1.14
that will solve your problem.
