Help me!!!!

hi guys, i'm new in this forum, i'm came from indonesia. i just buy n-gage in singapore for 3 months and i'm looking for information how to uninstall the .sis apps in the right and safe way, because now my n-gage is in hospital (start up failed :sad: ) after i deleting a couple file from c:/system/apps, because after i uninstall from drive e:/system/apps by deleting the whole folder i see the still have some copy data left on the drive c;/ so i deleted it also. After that everytime i open message, or other application always system error untill it cannot be turn on again. :-x

ok ..u need to format both the mmc and the fone bcoz if u format the fone and put an mmc with data on it..the programs will be system error coz it needs some data on C:\ (which u hv just formatted) :sad: ..the only way is to reformat ur mmc also and again install the sis file again..tt will do it

to install sis files on the n-gage simply using usb- n-gage put them in the mmc folder (E:\)..then in ur fone go to tools-->manager nanti bakal ada di sana :smile: ..the sis files..u just install it and then u can run it...try it..it will work..

hi there am02, thanks for your explanation, but i was asking about the safest way to uninstall or remove the .sis application,do i have to remove from the manager, or delete the whole folder in drive e:/system/apps& after i remove it do i have to delete also the data on the c:/system/apps?. skrg n-gageku ada di nokia proffesional center, lagi diformat ulang, it's 5 day allready. they say that they need to register the imei number and waiting confirmation from singapore,but untill today it still haven't got any reply yet from singapore. :sad: thanks again&sorry to bother you!Indonesia...tanah airku...(singing :lol: )

oh gitu toh :-P ...so the safest way is to delete it from tools-->manager bcoz if u manually delete (i.e system/apps)then some programs hv data on other places of folder(like libs or other)..so i suggest u delete using tools-->manager so it will be much safer :) ..ur n-gage di hospital yah..hehe...cepat sembuh yah..be well soon n-gage :lol:

better to remove from manager. try not to delete from folders.

deleting from either one, will still haf leftover files, all over the fone... well, just dun install unneccessary apps/games.

i see, so that is the safest way to do it. By the way my n-gage is revive allready :D i have just been told by the nokia profesional center that they allready register my imei to singtel singapore, so now my n-gage is like new one :-P . by the way if you guys don't mind can you give me the link to this forum where all you guys discuss about the symbian apps&games that must have, and also the bad one that should not be installed. Sorry to bother you guys, i just don't want something like this happen again in the future, is there anyone of you member of the nokia network?
