Can 6233 Be Unlocked?

Hi,
I have been looking at the various posts on this site and they do seem interesting, my question is can any program unlock the Nokia 6233? from speaking to various stores who claim unlocking for all phones - they tell me that the 6233 is unlockable? is this correct?

yes it can be unlocked using the mt pro box but that piece of kit currentley retails at over 3 thousand uk pounds.

personally i'd rather just phone the service provider and buy the code

Isn't there any other way?!
