    3310 help asap please

just got a 3310, guy said it needs flashed.

phone would not switch on,even after 20 mins charging.
    (does show charging bars)

in order to flash the phone i had to bung the charger in it.

flashed a fully working v5.57 to the phone no problems.

used eeprom then phone reset came on and said insert sim, but after 5 secs it went off again.

wont turn back on again now.......
    (does shoe charging bars)

dont know the history of the phone.

    anyone?

also have another 3310 exactly the same, only this 1 does not show charging bars/

It might be a hardware problem. Obviously older 3310's had incorectly sized resistanses and condensators on one of the chips.

A new empty battery needs about 8hrs of charging before it can stretch its lifetime to the max. Our battery runs at 3.6V and lets say if the voltage in the battery is less than 3.6V then when you charge, you wont be able to see any indicator. Try leave it to charge for around an hour or 2. See what happened. If still wont work, try using desktop charger to charge. If it still dont work, try use an external power supply and "short" the battery for a few seconds. its works for me sumtimes. Hope it work for you.
