This may be a silly question, but what do the start up and shutdown tone patchers actuaslly do? and the security code on the message menu?

Thinking of someone take yr phone and look up your personal may be very personal messages!!!!

and the startup tone add a tone that you want to be played when you start your phone and when you shut down it. if you have silent mode this tone isn't played!
