Why 5 unlock codes for 8310?

Why have i been given 5 codes to unlock my 8310? do i enter them all or just one of them. and is this done on the insert sim is shown on screen?

I would just enter No.1 code and No.5 code, should do the trick.............Normally you get 7 codes.

I turned on the phone screen showed "insert sim" i then typed in the 1st code and handset says "code error"

Perhaps try reposting your thread about getting codes, if you get 7 codes as a reply then use 7 (generaly unlocks all phone locks) if that fails use 1 then 5. Trouble is as you probably know you only get 5 tries to unlock it by codes.

Thats the one but it wont even accept the 1st code unless im doing it wrong

Well in theory you have 4 more tries, i would try the 7th code, then the 5th and see what happens mate........
