dobgy 3310

Hi guys!
This 3310 makes me grazy...
The problem..: it switch on fine but I have 30-60 sec to run trought the menu or to make a call..after that it hangs up and some times switches off...
The action: I flashe d it with several flashes tht I know are working ones...no resul.. flash several virgin eeproms set new IMEI update FAID use chunkheads guide to avoid no network problem / thanks chunky/ no result...than reheat CCONT, PA antenna switch no result..by the way in the 30-60 sec i can make a call with no problem and I can hold the call as far as I want...
Read somewhere that it is faulty CCONT, MAD2W....or flash chip?!
Any body any ideas...

I had an 8210 that did similar funny things, the screen would go dead after the startup, but when i removed the startup logo it would only go dead when i entered the Inbox.
I tried a new screen from ebay and this did not work so i ended up giving the phone to the kids next door.

I know it may sound defeatist but I would give up. You have done one hellava lot in trying to get this thing up and running and when you've got this far without getting it working, you may as well go get a job and buy another 3310 , it would be more time efficient

If you do come up with something then that's great, but instead of working on the mobile, work for what...5 hours? and get another 3310 second hand.

Yep bobl may be You are right....keeping in mind that the phone is not mine it is a time to bring it back and send my "poor" friend to otorized centre.....Ill try one more time to fix it up today and thats it...thanks for replays..

umm... did you try it with full battery?
some problems exist only when battery has eg. 3.6V instead of 3.8V (netmonitor 20).

Yes i tried several batteries too no result...the phone now is in the otorised centre....let see what thay can...Ill post results..

The otorized guis just cant fix it ...HA HA HA they have equpment for about 100 000 euros and cant do noting....I just wanna kick them in the ass....HA HA HA...think beeing thief on mobiles is great...../sorry moderators for this emty replay/

Mate, do you live in the UK?

Are you gonna throw it away? If so could I have it? I wanna play with a 3310, and especially if it's mucked up, I'd like a go at fixing it

And if I can't get it working, I'd then throw it away

P.S. This isn't arrogance on my part, you're obviously more experienced than me at repairing mobiles, but it'd be interesting to play around with a broken mobile
