Hi thanks it worked!
Thanks so much mate. You've made me very happy! Thanks again, you are a superstar.
No problem mate... glad it worked with no problems!![]()
Thanks again inderinderinder (what a mouthful!) I've unlocked the phone and it works on all networks except Orange. I tested it with a T mobile sim and i made a call and everything was ok. However when i put the orange sim in, it wasn't getting any signal and did not say Orange. When i try to make a call it just says No Network Coverage.
What does this mean? Sorry to sound stupid but I'm pretty new to this stuff. It doesn't really matter if you cant help me because its not that important, but any info/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any help.
the problem can be because of 2 things:
- there is no network coverge in the place you are in (no signal or signal too low to communicate).
- phone is barred at orange.
i don't think you are barred because in the uk if you are barred on one network you are barred on all, but it could be..
Perhaps the multi-lock code might help? What do you think?
he can use other networks' simcards, so the phone is unlocked, the multi-lock code won't help here.
thanks for the reply Yotamz![]()
Thanks for the replies everyone.
I can use the Orange sim in my other 7210 with no problems, but for this one I get no signal even though all other networks are OK.
Is it repairable then?![]()
Thanx![]()
sounds weird....maybe it is barred after all...
i suggest that you call orange and ask them..
Thanks Yotamz
If I ring them will they unbar it for me or will they charge me?
if it's barred, and it's not lost or stolen, they must have barred it by mistake, and they will unbarr it..
