zipped apps

hi. can anyone teach me how to install applications to my mobile phone that are zipped?im using an infrared device.

i would assume that you need the following:

-Phone with a infra red (nokia 5210 for example)
-a infra red receiving device (connects to computer)
-and software like oxygen...

if you have these 3, all you need to do is setup the software to use the right port / device and then bam... done (obviously line up the devices... infrared)

should be kinda simple tracy.

but in all honesty, i never got a chance to mess with infrared (had a nokia 5210) sold it and got a nokia 3510i
