upgrading 3310 into 3330

correct me if im wrong. We have a repair shop and repaired lots of 3310 and 3330. When I look at a board of a 3310 and a 3330, it seems only 1 chip is different. Do u think if I can find the chip/rom the same like the 3330's, I can upgrade 3310 into 3330 by hardware then software?

sorry for posting an answer to a question not for me but you are right. once the flash rom is changed to the 32mb one in replace of the 16mb one you will be able to do the 3330 upgrade. afaik
