Normally code 7 works first time for uk phones.... Strange for code 1 to work......
after typing in the # did the phone say "sim restriction off" ?
If so then the phone will now take any simcard.......

To be honest mate i havent a clue. But i'm sure if you go into the sony/ericsson section someone there will help you. I think you may have to use a log which you will have to pay for.........
