Phone Broken For No Reason! HELP! PLEASE!

For some reason, today my phone decided to randomly break. It had previously been on and functional at about 1pm, and then I turned it off and placed it in my pocket. Around 5pm, I took it out and tried to turn it on.

Suddenly, it has begun to 'power cycle'.. by that, I mean the nokia logo [but not the hands joining animation] will display itself on the screen, then fade out, then appear again, then fade out, and so on three times until the phone turns off.

I have tried taking out the battery and charging it with the AC adapter [although it was near-full capacity at 1pm and no calls were made since then] but it does nothing whatsoever, and even refuses to turn on without a battery in place.

If this is some sort of power issue, what do I do? Ahhhhh. This sucks. Someone please offer advice!

It could be a software issue, although there is a 90% probability that it is the battery. I had the same problem with a 7650.. Just hooked it up to a charger and left it over night. It started working fine after that.

What you could do is try to obtain another battery and see if it works.. If so, then your battery is the problem for whatever reason.. And you need the battery to work..

Hope that helps and let us know what happens..
