Take out your SIM card, then switch on the phone. It will prompt with "Insert SIM". Type code VERY carefully:

To get the "+" press the * key 2 times
To get the "p" press the * key 3 times
To get the "w" press the * key 4 times

The phone should say sim restriction off, and reboot, then prompt "Insert SIM". Switch it off, insert the SIM you want to use, and it should be fully working with signal.

Thank you for your prompt response however the phone said "cannot undo restriction". I double checked the unlock code before entering it and I have double checked the IMEI. I think that the previous owner might have tried to unlock it unsuccessfully at this point in time. Do you have any other recommendations?

You only get 5 attempts to get your code right before it locks up

message "Cannot Undo Restriction" means your 5 tries are up.

You need a datacable now and software (bwinlock will do it)
search on google.



this means you have used up your 5 tries and only have the option of a cable unlock now...
