Not changing Profiles

As you know from my other threads earlier, I've been uploading stuff to my phone today. I've also just set up WAP/GPRS I've now encountered a problem, don't know if it is in any way related. When I change profiles, although they change, they don't. The phone will tell you it has changed profiles, meanwhile the ringtones and other settings will still be that of the previous profile, e.g. my phone is currently stuck on 'Loud', and although I have turned it onto 'Silent', and the phone tells me it is on silent, when I get a phone call it still plays a ring tone. I looked in the setting and the settings are correct - that as it wouln't play a ringtone. Any ideas on why it is doing this? I have tried modifying the profiles, aswell as reseting the phone, leaving it off for a while, and removing the battery.

Forgot a couple of points. It's got V 4.05 software. And, when I change profiles, instead of saying, on the screen, 'Activated' or whatever it should say, it instead says 'Back'.

Took my phone to my local Hobart Nokia Care Center, and the guy looked at it for a while, then decided to try a 'Restore Factory Setings', (can't believe I didn't think of this...), and hey presto she's all good, cept that I have to re modifiy/personalise a few things, but better than a full redoing!
