using infrared

help, i have difficculty in using my infrared port to connect my pc to nokia 6510..im runnning windows xp.
any ideas

i have use ir for xp but no problem. have you installed the driver?

no i dont have any driver installed...is there any sites where i can dwld the driver?

you need to specify your ir brand in order to find out/download the software.

what IRDA you use,it maybe just need the ir driver from winxp cd.

im not sure, but i just installed nokia pc suite n trying it to detect my 6510..but to no avail...pls help

is your IrDa come with pc mainboard or what,is it plug at behind pc that some thing like p/s2 port, i think you just have to install IrDa driver from windows cd.

i did install the IrDa from the cd using the serial port..but didnt worked..do i have to get a IrDa adaptor?

haha,you also don't know your pc got IRDA or not.,how we know.
