SMS on my Nokia 6600 are LOST!!!

I am now going to be crazy because my Nokia 6600 gives me a total headache!!! I am not doing anything on my phone when suddenly, as I checked my SMS, ALL OF THEM ARE GONE!!! how could that be?

whenever i access my messages now, it says that i do not have a message on my inbox, my folders, drafts, and even sents folders. what should i do about it?

but when i check my SeleQ (E:\system\Mail), it still says that my messages/mails are still there having a size of 1.15MB, 85 folders and 3555 files!

CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS???

Well, Really you find nokia 6600 is a head ache, i donn think so, and what if Nokia hears... hahahahahh

Anyways, what i can judge from your explanation is that,you have changed you message memory, simple and since i have not seen any kinda bug in 6600 like u are saying, i can't say you should go to Nokia care for that, simply go to messages and then click option settings and then others, change your mesage memory from mem card to phone mem and i guess 80% chances are that your head ache would no longer be there cause u will get all ur messages back...

i did not change my message memory. what i said, my messages are not being shown in the Messages Menu.

if i am using my memory card memory, it doesn't show in the messages menu. same when i am using my phone memory. nothing is shown.

for example, i am using my memory card's memory, no messages are shown but my new ones. same when i am using my phone memory. nothing is shown.

i do not usually use my phone memory since i am having a 512mb memory card and i think it is enough to store all the messages there.

can anyone really help me?

Are you using any HIDE SMS programs like MUMSMS etc.?
If yes then that is your problem, simply make sure to SHOW all the messages again.

You have a point in there!!! I actually downloaded some programs recently and I do not know which one disabled my sms service. Do you know any MUMSMS program?

MumSMS is the name of the program. read its setting and check if this causes the problem.
