    Recover contacts from backup

Hi, i would like to ask if there is any way i can recover my contacts file that is stored in my pc in the backup folder, its inside a file "1045.DAT".

Is there any way i can extract the contacts from that file? I ask this cause the backup was from my 3650 that i sold, and now i have the 6260 and i want to copy the contacts back to the new phone. I cant use pc suite cause i cant get it to work with BT.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

    John

try tu use another 3650-send back backup and use (after fixed the troubles) Pc Suite or try sending a vcard file through smart vcard from 3650

Thanks for your reply. I dont know anyone with a 3650

I can use PC Suite 6.4 now with BT, but unfortenatelly this new PC Suite is uses a different type of file for backups, so it will not read my 3650 backup files. Also i tryed to install the 3650 pc suite but as it dont detect my new phone, it wont start if i dont connect my phone first, so im pretty stuck here...

If i could just find a way to extract the data from that file, i can open it in Word but its a mess....
