Help required with 7110

I aquired a nokia 7110 with software version 4.77 recently. Whenever a sim card was inserted it would say 'Sim not accepted'. I could read the phone book in the sim however. I tried unlocking using Rolis 1.8, but for some reason it wouldn't talk through the MBus cable. I decided to upgrade it to 5.01 and crossed fingers that it would solve my problems. I can now use the MBus cable, but all four locks are on as AUTO and clear SP Lock doesn't work.
I have tried re-flashing, virgin eeprom flash, and a few other tricks but I can't seem to get it to work correctly.

Any ideas??

did you try update IMEI and clear SP lock with Rolis Eprom Tool using mbus cable (not f/mbus combined cable try pure mbus cable).
