HI IM A TECHNICIAN AND I HAVE A 8260, IT STARTS OK GIVE THE WELCOME IMAGE AND THEN THE TIME ,NOW IF YOU TRY TO FIX THE TIME IT TURN OFF,IF YOU DONT DO ANY THING ITS KEEPS OK,WHAT COULD HAPPEN HERE.?

Dont think it has anything to do with setting the time

Try leaving the phone on table and just press on parts of the phone to see if it shuts off as well.

Have you taken the phone apart yet?? Otherwise check for screws that fall out.

if it is something to do with setting the time then perhaps the software on the phone has become corrupted due to some sort of bug.

perhaps trying to reinstall or upgrade the software on the phone might do the trick.

I TRIED WITH THE WINTESLA AND NOTHING HAPPEN,I PRESS THE PHONE AND IT KEPPS OK I OPENED IT AND ITS LOOKS OK,
