Does anyone know if it is possible to extract the phone book of a SIM card without knowing the PIN code via cloning?.

From what I have understand cloning only works only if the PIN code is known.

Please keep in mind that my problem is NOT to clone the SIM to join a cellular network but rather to extract somehow the phone book that my SIM contains.

Any suggestions would be appreciated
