Orange 6100 unlocked but won't work with 3 SIM?

Hi

I used the unlock calculator on the site to generate a code for an Orange UK 6100 I haven't used in about a year. The code was accepted and the phone reset. But when I tried to use the phone with a 3 UK SIM it rejected the SIM. When I tried a different unlock code, I got a phone already unlocked message.

Does anyone know why it won't take the 3 SIM?
