    3310 Fails to flash?

    Hey!

I'm trying to flash a Nokia 3310 here! I am offcourse using Win98, and I've downloaded the MCU and PPM for the 3310 5.79 and joined them to a .FLS-file with wt2dejan. I'm using Rolis 4.77, and it does flash, but it doesn't say "Flash OK" at the end of the flash-session! Why not? I've tried other full-flashes, and stuff, but it doesn't work!

Can anyone help me find out why it doesn't work?

When I set it to factory in Logger 2.0 (B-Phreaks), it says something about a corrupted language-pack! Why is the PPM corrupted? I've used all of the software before on a computer at my school, running Windows98, and it worked nicely!

I'll try at my school again on monday, but I really need it to work at home as well :/

try using KNOK to flash the fone ...its a little slower, but is very reliable ...... should it say cannot prepare fone, when trying to flash, then insert your charger at the same time

    Good luck

I've tried kNok_Pheonix 1a, and it says "Flash OK" But the PPM is still corrupted? I believe it says "Cannot prepare" So I'll try the charger-trick! Thank you

Hmm, I'm on another maschine now, and it flashes OK in kNok_Phoenix, but when I try to set it to "Factory" in Logger 2.0 B-Phreaks, it says: "Reason for contact service: - PPM Validity Test Failed! Please Repair The Phone First!"

I have updated the FAID, Cleared SP-locks, and set the correct IMEI in NokTool 1.8 by Rolis.

Is it the MCU/PPM that are fucked up?

Why do you convert the files you've downloaded? Why don't you open them with Rolis Flasher 4.77? It opens wintesla files perfectly. Sometimes when I tried to convert the MCU+PPM to a .fls file using Knok the file was corrupted... Just try to open the wintesla MCU and PPM files with Rolis with any coversion and then flash your phone.

I've done that too, but in Rolis, it doesn't say "Flash OK" at the end, when I use the Wintesla files IMO it's more easy to use Wintesla in Rolis, but it doesn't work either... I'll just try it one more time at this machine..
