5110 invert LCD

invert LCD, does it mean you dust invert it?

No, Invert LCD means that you invert the colors of your LCD.
All your messages, images.... will be white on the black background instead black on white backround.

how do u do it?

follow these steps.

1. with a blade cutter, remove the uppermost top film of ypur LCD.

2. when you have remove the film, twist the film clockwise a put atop of the LCD agin.


you wil notice that the background have turned blue or violet and your letters white , that is if your backlight is white...

extra care is needed so as tnot to break the LCD or damged the film... if you do you need another film....

That would be nice... Damian, you heard of or have any software capable of doing this?

I'm pretty sure this is a 100% hardware thing, maybe you got mixed up or something?

somewhere there is software which you just click on a button and it inverts the LCD. and i dont mean the button on logomanager. I have seen it but i cant remember which software......

i have done a modded 5110 where i patched the
display routines... looks crappy....

u can do that by a program called
g3nlite as I remember

use g3n0lite 1.7 to do it,all u have to do is open the flash file click on the invert lcd and click patch thx to Mr. g3gg0
u can also patch network bars or shuffle your menu structure using this software.
but remember to patch a file only once like reccomended by Mr. g3gg0 or u might experience problems.

i tried it using my 5110 v 5.24 and it worked great, but when i tried editing 5110 v 4.59 which is for DSP ROM 3 the software can't patch it.so b sure u have a 5110 with DSP ROM 4.
