3330 ringtones are slow

Got an odd one here, ringtones on the phone are slow as in they play, but slowed down, I flashed the phone to a newer version to see if that would sort it, but it made no difference. Anyone come across this problem and if so is there a fix for it?

just try to replace the clock crystal , i was having same problem with my nokia 8250 and solved it by same method ,
