T68i displays DATA

Hi all,

A friend of mine has a T68i which has the word DATA at the top centre of the display and he can't get rid of it, anyone help with this.

Have you tryed a factory reset?

What network is it from as well?

I think it is either Vodaphone or O2 the word DATA is in the position that you have your operator logo (if it was a Nokia) he doesn't know what he did to get it as it is.

It would seem to me that it is in a data transmission mode of some kind but I know very little about Sony/Ericsson phones, the phone operates normally otherwise.

Can reset be performed from the handset or does it require a cable or IR connection & software?
