C:\ memory problem

There isn't to much memory on the C:\ i know.
But when i use my BT to send proggies to my phone it ends in the inbox, wich means on the C:\. Here it fills up a lot of space, but i know I can delete it again after installation. But here comes the real deal, i haven't got enough space on the c:\ to install proggies to the MMC. Is there someway i can get around this, when i try to install a program from the inbox it says that there isn't enough space to continue, even though there is enough space on the MMC, i uess that the phone saves something in the install folder which is on the c:? can any1 please help me? i would be very gratefull!!

good question there.. haha.. had that problem once too..

actually there are a few ways to deal with this. i found 2 ways that i think is the most suitable.

when u want to send a program installation file, change the inbox settings to use the mmc memory instead of the phone memory. this will save the program file into the mmc, thus leaving space for u to run the installation in ur phone mem.

to change ur inbox mem, go to messaging>options>settings>other>memory in use
then change the mem to mmc.

another way is to send them using pc suite instead. but u will need a file manager in the phone to get the file to install. just drag and drop the installation file into any place in the mmc and run the installation using the file manager. it will work too.

another way but i am not too sure if it will work is to install by using the pc. u will need pc suite install although u wont need to use it. connect ur phone and pc. in windows explorer or any open window with the .sis file, double-click the file and the installation will launch. it will automatically install the file for u.
