  1. #1

Unhappy 3510i data cable doesnt work

i have bought a data cable at handyzubehoer.de.
an it doesnt work at all.

I tried it with different OS (win 2000, win98se), and different programs (mobiMB, Oxygen) and computers.

But ie. Mobi cant find the phone, the logomanager
    link test shows:

    MBUS - TEST

    MBUS power... ok
    Data send..failed
    data received ..failed

the same at the the other 2 tests.
    data send failed
    data erceived fialed

The COM Port is not the problem my trium astral works perfectly.

Only at the last consequence I will send the cable back,
    and order an new one.

    Do you have any ideas?

    hm...

    just to make sure:

    - the cable connectors are clear and not covered by some protection (that they don't get damaged when shipped)

-you have the phone turned ON when you use the programs
(for me mobi mb works best)
    Phone:

    done.

    The phone was switched on,

Ok I solved the problem, i opened th ecase with an screwdriver and pushed one contact a little bit, and now it works.

sorry, and thank you, the cable especially the connector was the problem.

    I've had the same problem..

    it's supposed to be an auto-switch mbus/fbus.

the mbus is never detected but the fbus is. Could it be a contact problem or something else?
