Changing the Alpha Tag, Boot Logo, and Operator Logo on an 8290

Hi everyone

I'm toying with how to change some things on my 8290. It's an unlocked phone, and my SIM card is with Rogers AT&T in Canada. (Don't know if that matters or not)

I used to know how to change the Alpha tag on my 8260, but the *3001# thing doesn't work on the 8290..... any advice?

JUST SAW YOUR POST YOU WILL NEED TO EITHER GET A DATA LINK CABLE (EXPENSIVE) OR THE INFRARED CABLE (YOU CAN GET FROM MAIN ELECTRONICS 604-872-0267 (ASK FOR ADOM) OR YOU CAN CALL ANY OF YOUR LOCAL ELECTRONIC SHOPS - NOT FUTURESHOP OF A&B SOUND. THEN GO TO KAZAA.COM AND DOWN LOAD LOGO MANAGER. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO GET A FEW SOME OF THE ONES ARE DEMO'S AND FIND THE PATCH. YOU CAN CHANGE THE OPERATOR LOGO, START UP LOGO,(CHANGING THESE WILL VOID YOUR WARRENTY) AS WELL AS OTHER THINGS.
YOU MAY WANT TO GE PC SUIT 5 FROM NOKIA.CA.

Thanks FourM.... I have LogoManager and it tells me that the change was successful - it can read it back from the phone, but for some reason the phone won't display my boot logo or operator logo - it just keeps saying Rogers....... is it something to do with their SIM card?
