Thread: 9210 internal memory

  1. #1

    9210 internal memory

Is there a way/program that will 'fool' the 9210 in using some of the external memory for internal? Similiar to virtual ram?

I'm currently using stacker v1.01 & appman and the free internal ram ranged from 3.65 to 3.99MB

Another question, is there any way of moving the contacts/messaging/data to the external memory card?

    Thanks!

nope, not that im aware of, the version of the symbian os used in 92XX has no inbuilt support for virtual memory

    To move contacts
You need to create a new database in the memory card
    open contacts
    Menu
    More options
    New database
When it is created, copy all the contacts from the contacts directory to the new database just created

    Messaging
    open messaging
    goto menu
    tool
    message storage
    Move to memory tab
    Change communicator to memory card
    Select move NOT change
    wait untill it is done.

    here to help man

just be carefull, if ure always taking out the memory card and puting it back in, it can screw up your messaging

If you take out the memory card and then you recieve a message, it looks for the memory card doesnt fnd it then it messes up
