    Exclamation warez.....

    Hi there
It does not matter what developer your game is... as long as it is a full version, which is SOLD by the developer, it will be considered illegal to post it here.
If you got a demo version, or one that can be downloaded for free ("Freeware") from it's developer, then you may post it here, too.
Posting a commercial game (one that have to be bought in the first place) is an act of software piracy, that's why it is illegal.
    Kind regards...

    Thumbs up

Dammit... But why is it illegal to post it ihere? If I got it for free I should be able to share it to others for free. If I bought it than it's another story... I just don't get it...

Lightbulb depends where and how you got it for "free".......

    Hello again
Well, if you got a free version, which could either be a free download from Nokia, from the game's developer (freeware!) or a demo-version, then there is no problem posting it here.....
But if you got it already as a pirated version (warez!) from some website, or a friend gave it to you, or whatever.... then there will be a problem.
The authorities are after software pirates, and even people are considered "pirates" when they share what they got for free, not knowing that it is not a legal freeware. And what can happen is, if too many people share such "warez" here on the forum, then the forum will be shut down by those authorities... remember Napster? Surely most of it's users weren't aware that their file sharing was considered "piracy" and finally Napster got shut and sued. Now obviously everyone knows of that piracy thing, and only the hard core of users (incl. myself) doesn't care too much about it and continues using Kazaa and the like.
But i myself do different with software here on the forum, as this CAN be shut down easily and i want it to stay for a loooooong time. Kazaa isn't that easy to be grounded as it is not, unlike Napster, centralised.
If you have a game that was free in the very first instance (nobody ever had to pay for it!), then go ahead and post it
Any other you can still send to people via e-mail......... nobody here (forum owner etc) can be held responsible That's why we have the PM function and e-mail.........
    Kind regards....
