the #pw+code+x# is the code for removing the phone's restriction.
x can be 1-7, where:
1 - unlocks mcc+mnc (country+provider)
2 - unlocks gid1 (lock to simcard type)
3 - unlocks gid2 (not yet clear what it really is)
4 - unlocks msin (specific simcard lock).
5 - 1+2
6 - 1+2+3
7 - All 4 locks (multilock)

usually, code 1 is used to unlock u.s phones, code 7 for the rest.
