Problems with my 3650, help please!

Hi, I just recently started to download programs for my 3650, but even before I did I had problems with the phone closing basic phone applications like the phone log and just being poopy in general. This was before I had any memory card at all, and once I got a 256 Kingmax and started downloading apps through a card reader, I came upon a whole new set of problems as follows...

    1. Some programs don't make it all the way through installation.
    a. Some programs install all the way, but don't run properly (i.e. Philips Camcorder Pro just freezes after I try to run it)

    2. My call log application doesn't work all the time still

    3. I installed System Tools and when I try entering flight mode it still says "Insert SIM card"

    4. When doing stuff on the memory card (whatever it may be) my phone sometimes stops recognizing my memory card and says that I don't have one, when two seconds ago I did. This happens a lot when installations go wrong, or programs crash.

Can somebody please help me with this? I started to really like my phone once I figured out how to get programs on it, but all these problems make me want to chuck it at the wall as hard as I can...help puh-leez

Nokia's gonna get cha, nokia's gonna get cha

Hmmmmm sounds like another enthrawled nokia client (victim). I wonder, if they made hand grenades, they'd probably be smoke bombs

If your firmware is earlier than 4.13, it's a very good idea to treat the unit like one of the first IBM PC's. If your available memory on C:\ gets too low the phone will stall, proggy's not play and all kinds of wierd shit. Avoid keying ahead too far, it's only got 104Mhz of processor. Always exit out of programmes to retain adequate memory for the phone to function.

    If all else fails:
within 14 days of taking ownership - take it back to vendor and replace it. They've got supply agreements with Nokia.
    or
If within the 12month warrenty period, take it to a Nokia Disappointment Centre and have it flashed with an upgrade of the firmware - be prepared to not have the phone for a while (they've gotta learn how to do it). But it's at no charge.
    or
If neither option works for you , and you can afford it; find a Nokia Salesman and give him a 3650 enema, and drive the message home.
