Access points coming up every 30 secs (6600 )

Hello

I have recently bought a nokia 6600 , it was originally on orange but is now open to all networks. I am on the o2 network and on pay as you go , i have have configured all my access points for gprs and mms and everything works fine.
The only problem i have is that every 30 secs i select access point coming up on the front screen even when im not trying to log on to wap , ive tried everything but it still keeps coming up.
Your help would be very much appreciated , i live in the uk by the way

Well, by the looks of things, your nokia wants to go online all the time.
To prevent that, this might work:

Go in the menu > go to the tools folder > open Settings

Now scroll down to 'Connection' > Go Into 'GPRS' settings

This will have two 'GPRS connection' types: 'When needed' and 'When available'

Try switching to when needed. That may stop it from trying to connect all the time.
