nokia 3310 urgent help required PLEASE

Hi everyone (firstpost)
i bought a cable which came with a software program called mobile phone browser after installing it and checking the usb was recognised i connected my phone but it said no phone detected does any one have a easier software program for changing logos ringtones screens,etc that would work with the 3310 also does anyone have the return to factory settings for the 3310
