Please HELP me!!!!!

I need to unlock my phone, but using all the dct4 software, all i have reached is the test mode. I can't get further. the software puts it into test mode, but then i get a "connection failed" or "cannot establish connection". I know the connection is ok, and i have tried both the fbus option and the mbus option on my interface.

Please help, coz i'm lost....

Tell me which software and cable you are using, I might be of help

i think it's v4.00 on the software. the cable is a combined mbus and fbus cable with a switch on the back. i insert the sim and the battery into the box and connect it to the phone. thats pretty much it.
